As the summer comes, and friends visit and pass by our home, I sit here listening to Allison Krauss Radio, I simple adore bluegrass music, my fingers moving to the melody of the music.
Vanilla ice cream, with strawberry freezer jam and raspberries, fill a cup near my hand, I take bites every now and then of the yummy dessert. Summer has its charms, just like the rest... the pool outside is almost always full of laughter from the people who fill it.
I had the joy earlier today, to journal of my weekend by the pool. The sun rays shining through the limbs of trees around the little pool and the light adding charm to the colorful flowers round it! I also breezed through a "Country Living" catalog, Ooing and awing at the vintage rooms they had in the back of the magazine. Planning my future room or home all out in my mind, while my eyes were flying from page to page with excitement!
Even though I don't live in the country, I still imagine my self too with walks in the "wood". And walks up to a small field to gather wild flowers to fill the corners of my room wit gaiety and well my friends, I am happily contented. :)
Now off to read "An-Old Fashioned Girl" by Louisa May Alcott. Summer dreams my friend!
