So this past weekend I went to Va! I had a exciting time, going to the homeschool converence and meeting new people. Being able to see old friends again! Browsing many booths, with ideas for future ideas for my hopechest. Queen's Homeschool is one that I thought about buying from, I love the moral stories and Dolly Mason style of it.
Here is the site for others who might be interested, Queen Homeschool.
The books I really would love to get is the "Ladies of Virtue" Series. They are very charming and moral, which are the kind of books I love! Do see now why I love Louisa May Alcott?
So I had fun there, and then we had a cookout at my Aunt and Uncles where the kids watched "Finding Nemo."
So that was a hoot, and then I had quite a time at my cousins! Reading, while listening to period drama music, taking quizes to see which "Anne of Green Gables" character we are and another quiz to see which Jane Austen heroine we are! I turned out to be Anne, and then Marianne on the other. Which is odd, because last time I was Elionor, the exact opposite!
Me and my cousin Hannah danced to Enya, in skrits in her basement which was so much fun! Then on my cousin's big screen we watched "Princess and the Pauper." Barbie style, you can imagine the flash backs I was having. It was funny to hear us all talk about who we thought was more charming out of the Ken's, and us sing to the old childhood songs.
After that weekend we headed home, and happy to say this weekend so far has been fun!
Yesterday, we went and saw "Mega Mind" with some families we know, then the families came over to swim and that was fun! Maybe I'll share pictures later... Well, I must go. Toodle-loo!
